Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed crackers
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. syrup from pineapple
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained

Instructions

  1. Make the meatloaf by mixing hamburger, egg, crushed crackers, minced onion, pineapple syrup, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and evaporated milk; shape into a loaf.
  2. Top the meatloaf with an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
