Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together except the marshmallows and pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
  2. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
  3. Check if the cake is done when a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Place marshmallows on the hot cake and return it to the hot oven to melt.
  5. Let cool, then cover with icing.
