Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (5 oz) can boned chicken
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 box Pillsbury ready to use pie crust

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a saucepan and stir in milk slowly.
  2. Add the cream of chicken soup and mix well.
  3. Add chicken, vegetables, onion, salt, and butter; heat to boiling point, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the filling into a pastry-lined pie pan.
  5. Sprinkle with thyme and cover with the top pie crust.
  6. Cut slits in the crust for steam to escape.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 30-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
