Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can creamed chicken soup
  • 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Mix the thawed hash brown potatoes, chopped onion, butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, creamed chicken soup, and grated Cheddar cheese until well combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Crumble the crushed cornflakes mixed with melted butter over the top of the mixture.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
