Ingredients

  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cans hominy, drained
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or 1 can onion rings, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, red pepper, black pepper, celery seed, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is thoroughly heated.
  3. Place the drained hominy in a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour the heated soup mixture over the hominy.
  5. Top with bread crumbs or crumbled onion rings and slivered almonds.
  6. Bake at 300°F for 15 minutes.
