Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 bone-in chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine chicken broth, orange juice, honey, lemon juice, cider vinegar, soy sauce, orange peel, ground ginger, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and cool the marinade.
  3. Pour 1 1/3 cups of marinade into a large resealable plastic bag.
  4. Add chicken breasts to the bag, seal, and turn to coat.
  5. Refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  6. Cover and refrigerate the remaining marinade.
