Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter texture, ensure your yeast is fresh and activate it properly in lukewarm water. If you don't have Crisco, unsalted butter can be used as a substitute. Adding a pinch of garlic powder to the dough can enhance flavor. For a sweet twist, consider mixing in cinnamon or nutmeg. If you want a unique touch, brush the rolls with melted butter mixed with herbs before baking.

Serving Suggestions

These hot dinner rolls are perfect served warm with butter or alongside hearty soups and salads. They pair beautifully with dishes like Pineapple Supreme or Cream Of Anything Soup. For a delightful brunch, serve them with Mary'S Banana Bread or as part of a bread basket featuring various spreads to complement their soft texture.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. To reheat, thaw at room temperature and warm them in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or microwave for 15-20 seconds until warm.
