Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 2 cups diced bananas
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10 x 15-inch (25 x 38 cm) baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, oil, and vanilla; mix well until smooth.
  4. Fold in crushed pineapple, halved maraschino cherries, diced bananas, and chopped nuts.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.
