Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1/2 c. sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and soy sauce.
  2. Add beef; turn to coat.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil and cook garlic, red pepper, and beef mixture over high heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until beef is browned.
  4. Stir in red and green peppers and green onions; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
