Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups pecans
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 5 Heath or Skor bars, broken into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 5 ounces evaporated milk
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan; add brown sugar, corn syrup, and flour, stirring well.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Spread pecans on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
  6. Gradually stir evaporated milk, broken candy bars, and pecans into the syrup mixture.
  7. Serve over ice cream.
