Ingredients

  • 1 medium steak (1/3 lb.) lean ground beef patty
  • 1 medium potato, thinly sliced 1/8 to 1/4-inch
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 to 3 thinly sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. On a long piece of heavy aluminum foil, place one half of the sliced vegetables.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then place it on top of the vegetables.
  3. Add the remaining sliced vegetables on top of the seasoned meat.
  4. Fold up sides and ends of the aluminum foil to seal the package well.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes, turning once, or grill for 17 minutes on each side.
