A hearty Italian-inspired casserole combining beef, noodles, mushrooms, and rich tomato flavors, perfect for comforting family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • spices
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onions in butter until translucent.
  2. Place the sautéed onions in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  3. Brown the beef and add it to the casserole.
  4. Add the canned creamed corn, mushroom, and tomato sauce to the mixture.
  5. Add the uncooked noodles to the casserole.
  6. Dissolve the beef bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over the casserole.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C), uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese before serving.
