Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using sweet Italian sausage and adding some sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms. If you prefer a lighter version, swap half of the Italian sausage with cooked ground turkey. You can also use whole wheat dough for a healthier twist. Make sure to roll the dough tightly to prevent it from unraveling during baking.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Italian Sausage Loaf with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. It pairs beautifully with a marinara dipping sauce or garlic butter for added flavor. For a more substantial dinner, enjoy it alongside Italian recipes like No Noodles Lasagne or a classic Caesar salad.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until warmed through. Alternatively, you can microwave individual slices for about 30-45 seconds.
