Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. thick shanghai noodles or tagliatelle noodles
  • 4 oz. Chinese cabbage, chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • pepper
  • 4 oz. chicken breast meat
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or frypan.
  2. Stir-fry chicken breast meat for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling salted water until just tender, then drain and rinse under hot water.
  4. Leave noodles in a colander to dry.
  5. Add chopped Chinese cabbage and green onions to the chicken along with soy sauce, pepper, and sesame oil.
  6. Cook for 1 minute, then toss in the cooked noodles.
  7. Toss everything together and serve.
