Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can salmon
  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 tsp. grated onion
  • 2 1/2 tsp. horseradish
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • dash cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the salmon, remove bones, and flake the fish.
  2. In a small bowl of an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese with lemon juice, grated onion, horseradish, salt, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and liquid smoke until well combined.
  3. Gently stir in the flaked salmon.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  5. Combine chopped pecans and minced parsley on a sheet of waxed paper.
  6. Roll the salmon ball into the pecan and parsley mixture until well coated.
  7. Wrap in waxed paper and chill.
