Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 lb. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the green pepper and onions in shortening.
  2. Add hamburger and cook until it loses its red color.
  3. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  4. Add tomatoes to the hamburger with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer cooked noodles, hamburger mixture, and grated cheese in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
