Ingredients

  • 15 oz Raisin Bran
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 cups flour
  • 5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 quart buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix the first nine ingredients: Raisin Bran, sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and vanilla.
  2. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, and oil to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Store the batter in the refrigerator; do not stir again.
  4. Spoon the batter into muffin pans, filling just enough for each cup.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
