Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 5 to 6 carrots, cut in julienne pieces
  • 4 to 5 potatoes, cut like French fries
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 cans French-style green beans, drained
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and onions in electric skillet; drain excess grease.
  2. Spread potatoes evenly over beef; spread carrots over potatoes.
  3. Spread celery over carrots.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Sprinkle oregano generously.
  6. Cover and cook 15 minutes at 350°.
  7. Spread green beans over mixture.
  8. Spread cream of mushroom soup over green beans.
  9. Cover and cook an additional 15 minutes.
