Tips & Substitutions

For a crunchier texture, consider adding some shredded radishes or bell peppers. You can also substitute the sugar with honey or a sugar alternative for a healthier option. If you prefer a spicier kick, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper. This slaw can be adapted to suit your taste preferences, much like the Sweet And Spicy Cucumbers.

Serving Suggestions

This slaw makes a fantastic side dish for grilled meats or sandwiches, providing a refreshing contrast. It pairs beautifully with Burger Dressing for an added zing on burgers or hot dogs. Consider serving it alongside BBQ dishes or as a topping for tacos for a delightful crunch.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it will keep well for up to a week. The flavors will intensify as it sits. To serve again, simply give it a gentle stir before enjoying, as it may settle in the fridge.
