Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mix well and add vanilla, oats, cornflakes, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  5. Make balls of dough and flatten with a fork dipped in ice water.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 13 minutes.
