- Mix butter, cream cheese, and egg yolks until well combined.
- Gradually add flour and mix until the dough is smooth and well incorporated.
- Divide the dough into three equal portions.
- Roll each portion to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Cut the rolled dough into 1 1/2-inch squares.
- Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling in the center of each square.
- Fold opposite corners of the square together and squeeze to form a bow shape.
- Place the shaped kolachy on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
