Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. beef, cut in thin slices
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1-2 carrots, sliced thin
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced thin
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup wine (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put beef in a bowl and sprinkle sugar on top.
  2. Refrigerate overnight to marinate.
  3. Mix together carrots, green onions, garlic, sesame oil, pepper, salt, soy sauce, and wine.
  4. Let the mixture set for a few hours to develop flavors.
  5. Use an electric fry pan and cook the beef with the vegetables on medium-high heat.
  6. Serve over white rice. The electric fry pan can be placed in the middle of the table for everyone to cook their own beef.
