Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb chopped beef
  • 1 1/2 lb cabbage
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seed
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown chopped beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in oil.
  2. If there is much excess water, pour it off.
  3. Mix soy sauce, sugar, toasted sesame seed, and red pepper to make the sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the meat mixture and simmer for one minute.
  5. Quarter the cabbage or cut into smaller pieces and remove the hard center.
  6. Spread the cabbage over the meat and cook, covered tightly, until the cabbage is firm-tender.
  7. Stir once during cooking.
  8. If desired, add cherry tomatoes a minute before serving.
