Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 slices bread, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • salt
  • cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix ground lamb, diced onion, shredded Cheddar cheese, diced bread, egg, and salt together. Form into small balls and roll in cracker crumbs.
  2. Arrange the meatballs in a baking dish and pour milk mixed with brown sugar over them.
  3. Add sherry until the meatballs are almost covered.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours.
