Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast links
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 lasagna noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 lb Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb Mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 Tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Slice the breakfast links thinly.
  2. Place the links in a skillet with minced garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of salt; brown over high heat.
  3. Drain the browned links on a paper towel.
  4. Set the cooked links aside for later use in the lasagna.
