Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lb. plain lasagna noodles
  • 1 pt. cottage or Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and chopped onion together until the beef is browned.
  2. Add minced garlic, crushed oregano, tomato soup, water, and vinegar to the meat mixture.
  3. Simmer the sauce for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Layer cooked and drained lasagna noodles with cottage or ricotta cheese, mozzarella slices, and the meat sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, then serve.
