Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (No. 2) can Prego spaghetti sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onions
  • oregano
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pt. cottage cheese or Ricotta
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef; drain excess fat.
  2. Add Prego spaghetti sauce, salt, pepper, chopped onions, and oregano to the meat. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the beaten eggs, cottage cheese (or Ricotta), Cheddar cheese, and Mozzarella cheese to make the cheese filling.
  4. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  5. Layer cooked noodles, meat sauce, and cheese filling in a casserole dish. Repeat layers as desired.
  6. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) until bubbly and golden on top, about 30 minutes.
