Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/3 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 ham steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can milk

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and ham, and sauté until the onion is tender and golden.
  3. Stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup and the milk, mixing until well blended.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes and cook until the soup is hot throughout, adjusting consistency with extra milk if desired.
