Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, cream cheese, and margarine until well combined.
  2. Pack the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining sugar, eggs, baking powder, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour the mixture on top of the baked bottom layer.
  6. Bake at 350°F for an additional 25 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
