Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 small container Cool Whip
  • 2 small pkg. lemon instant pudding

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a bowl, combine the butter, flour, and chopped pecans to form a crust mixture.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  7. In a separate bowl, prepare the lemon instant pudding according to package instructions.
  8. Spread the prepared pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate until set before serving.
