Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup cherries (red sour pitted; reserve juice)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
