Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 pound margarine
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 packages instant pudding (of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Cut margarine into flour until it resembles a pie crust mixture.
  2. Add nuts and press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. In a bowl, blend 1 cup of sugar into the cream cheese which has been softened at room temperature.
  6. Mix in Cool Whip and beat with an electric mixer until well blended.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Combine the instant pudding mix with 3 cups of milk and beat until thick.
  9. Pour the pudding mixture on top of the cheese layer.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before cutting into squares.
