Ingredients

  • 2 c. macaroni
  • 8 oz. mild Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Boil macaroni for 8 to 10 minutes in salted water.
  2. Drain the macaroni, do not rinse.
  3. Pour the macaroni into a mixing bowl; add cheese, beaten egg, milk, and pepper.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and dot with butter.
  6. Bake at 450° until brown.
