- Mix margarine, beaten egg, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, coconut, and oats together until well combined.
- Grease and flour a cookie sheet.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- Once frozen, pop out the baked mixture onto foil.
- Cover with foil and roll a rolling pin over to crush into small pieces.
