Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, beaten egg, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, coconut, and oats together until well combined.
  2. Grease and flour a cookie sheet.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Once frozen, pop out the baked mixture onto foil.
  7. Cover with foil and roll a rolling pin over to crush into small pieces.
