Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 green pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • lettuce cups

Instructions

  1. Boil the beef at 550°F for 13 minutes per side; then cool.
  2. Cut the cooled meat into 3/8-inch strips.
  3. Arrange the meat strips in a baking dish measuring 13 1/2 x 9 x 2 inches.
  4. Place drained sliced mushrooms on top of the meat.
  5. Top with sliced green pepper rings.
