Maple Walnut Scones

Instructions
- Mix flour with brown sugar, baking powder, salt, soda and ginger.
- Cut butter into flour mixture in small particles.
- Add egg, buttermilk and maple syrup.
- Stir just until mixed.
- Stir in walnuts and raisins.
- Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheet 2 inches apart, making 10 mounds. Bake at 425° for 12 to 13 minutes.
- Serve warm.
