- Place steak in a baking dish and cover with marinade made from the remaining ingredients.
- Turn to coat the steak, then cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
- Preheat the broiler. Remove the steak from the marinade and pat dry.
- Sprinkle freshly ground pepper on the steak.
- Broil the steak 4 to 6 inches from the heat source for 4 to 7 minutes on each side.
- Slice thinly across the grain and serve.
