Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 4 servings mashed potatoes
  • paprika
  • tomato wedges
  • 1 cup stuffing mix (herb seasoned)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, stuffing mix, tomato sauce, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 to 6 loaves.
  3. Arrange the loaves in a shallow baking dish so they do not touch.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
  5. Bake covered in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and turn the oven to 450°F (230°C).
