Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup cheese
  • 8 oz refrigerator biscuits

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the cooked beef with barbecue sauce, minced onion, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Open the refrigerator biscuits and press each into the cups of a muffin pan, ensuring the dough goes up the sides.
  4. Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
  5. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of cheese over the top of each muffin.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and cooked through.
