Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c cheese, small pieces
  • 3/4 c crackers
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/2 lb bacon

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, cheese, and crackers in a bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  3. Mix egg and milk, then moisten the meatballs with this mixture.
  4. Wrap each meatball with a strip of bacon.
  5. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
  6. Bake in a hot oven for 30 to 40 minutes until bacon is crispy and cooked through.
