Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted and divided
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 10 oz. cheese, grated
  • 2 cup crushed cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Defrost the frozen hash brown potatoes.
  2. Combine 6 tablespoons of melted butter, onions, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and grated cheese in a bowl.
  3. Mix the blended mixture with the defrosted potatoes until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased large casserole dish.
  5. Mix the remaining butter with crushed cornflakes and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
