Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms with liquid
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cut meat diagonally across the grain into thin strips.
  2. In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, microwave the butter for 3 minutes on High.
  3. Add mushrooms with liquid to equal 1 cup; stir in dry onion soup mix. Heat to boiling.
  4. Add steak sauce and garlic powder.
  5. Cook on Medium for 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream.
  7. Serve over thin or broad egg noodles.
