Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart microwave bowl, combine broccoli, onion, and water. Cover and microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir twice during cooking, breaking the broccoli into smaller pieces.
  3. Stir in the cream of chicken soup, milk, shredded Cheddar cheese, and black pepper.
  4. Microwave uncovered on High for 7 to 9 minutes until the chowder is well heated, stirring twice during cooking.
  5. Ladle into bowls and top each serving with chopped peanuts.
