Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can lima beans, drained
  • 15 oz. can butter beans with molasses sauce and bacon
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced dried onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine lima beans, undrained butter beans with molasses sauce and bacon, tomato sauce, chopped green pepper, brown sugar, dried onion, dry mustard, and ground ginger.
  2. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  3. Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes or until flavors are blended.
