Ingredients

  • 1 thick layer sliced raw potatoes
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 1 layer thick sliced onions
  • 1 layer thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Layer sliced raw potatoes at the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add a layer of sliced onions on top of the potatoes.
  5. Place a layer of thinly sliced carrots over the onions.
  6. Sprinkle raw rice evenly over the carrot layer.
  7. Crumble ground beef over the top of the rice layer.
  8. Cover the pan tightly with foil.
  9. Bake for exactly 2 hours and 20 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and let set, covered, for 10 minutes.
  11. Serve and enjoy.
