Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (46 oz.) can V-8 juice
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 2 1/2 cups macaroni
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped celery together; drain grease.
  2. In a soup kettle, combine the cooked meat mixture, drained kidney beans, V-8 juice, 1/3 can of water, cooked macaroni, and chili powder.
  3. Cook, covered, on low heat until the soup thickens.
