Mom's Stroganoff combines hearty ground beef, tender noodles, and a savory V-8 juice sauce, perfect for comforting family dinners and satisfying hearty appetites.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 12 oz. pkg. noodles
  • 6 c. V-8 juice
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute beef and chopped onion; drain excess fat.
  2. Place cooked beef and onion in a large pot. Spread uncooked noodles on top.
  3. Mix V-8 juice, pepper, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Pour mixture over noodles and meat without stirring.
  4. Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat and cover.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
