A rich, layered mousse delight featuring a crunchy nut crust, creamy cheese filling, and fluffy whipped topping, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 small pkg. chocolate instant pudding

Instructions

  1. Use a pastry blender to combine flour, butter, and chopped nuts.
  2. Crumb the mixture together.
  3. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes and then cool.
  5. Combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, and chocolate instant pudding mix.
  6. Beat until smooth and spread over the cooled crust.
  7. Mix Cool Whip with additional ingredients and spread over the previous layer.
  8. Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
