Ingredients

  • 8 oz. noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. ground turkey or beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can pizza sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 4 oz. Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground turkey or beef with chopped onion and chopped garlic in a skillet.
  2. Drain off any excess grease from the meat mixture.
  3. Combine the cooked noodles with the meat mixture, pizza sauce, crushed tomatoes, oregano, and Parmesan cheese in a large bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 3-quart casserole dish.
  5. Top the casserole with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
