Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. fish stock
  • 1 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped green onions
  • 1 c. white wine
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 to 4 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Make a roux with butter and flour; add fish stock and wine. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Add rest of seasoning.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve as soup or serve with rice.
